Description

For sale here is a Fender MIJ Jazz Bass, 1970's Reissue, made in 1996 with the Fender 50th Anniversary sticker on the rear of the headstock.
This is a beauty, in excellent playing condition, low action and it sounds like a really good Jazz Bass should sound - this one sings!
Frets are in great condition, a few marks as you'd expect from an instrument that's 29 years old, but nothing serious.
Neck profile/shape is pretty much identical to the US-built 1972 I have here.
Legendary Fender Japan quality.
Serial Number is V0093XX.
No case included.
Collection preferred but can meet up if needed.
Shipping by An Post will be €30 extra, but I am very slow to ship without a hard case.........

@tomileee: I need closer to asking price on this, €800 plus the fuel cost of running a 3.5t van halfway to Drogheda from Kerry these days just isn't realistic......

@MonsterMarsh: Serial number now up, you can tell the Series and year from that. Unfortunately I don't have any way to measure the neck profile but it's pretty close to the 1972 USA Jazz I have here.
