Absolutely immcaulate As New custom Reater 4B hand-built by renowned Irish Luthier Chris Larkin (sadly deceased). These highly sought after, rare basses, are sadly no longer in production, following Chris's passing. This unique Reacter was hand crafted in 2008, although 18 years old it looks like it has just left the workshop. Apart from playing beautifully and sounding amazing, these basses unique are rare and becoming increasingly collectable

Alder Body, Walnut facing with binding ( a rarity on Larkin basses), Maple set neck, Rosewood fingerboard. Absolutely no discernable fret wear.

There is an interesting story that the timber for this bass was recovered from a fallen alder tree following the great storm in Ireland 2007. (Recycling at its very best!)

In absolutely pristine condition I can detect no blemishes whatsoever.

Active/passive electronics, with an amazing array of tones. Controls comprise Volume Push/pull Active passive. True passive as it works without battery. Passive tone. Pickup blend. Active (Boost & Cut) Treble, Middle, Bass

There are a choice of tone knob the gold originals, or the black ones I have fitted.

This bass also has two top nuts, the original Precision bass type spacing and a second with Jazz bass spacing, made by Tony Thompson (renowned Luthier based in Ireland).

Fitted with new nickel coated 40 gauge strings.

Complete with foam lined heavy duty flight case.
