Description

Selling my Ibanez SR505 bass with fitted Ibanez hard foam soft case.
Finished with the project I'm using it for so it's now surplus to requiremenfs. In great condition bar one ding in the top of the body (pictured). Output jack upgraded with a PureTone barrell jack.

Hoping for cash on this one as I have my eye on something else, but will consider swaps for other bass gear.
So try me, worst I can say is no thanks.

Happy to meet in the greater Dublin area but not willing to ship the bass as that's always hassle.

Details:

the Ibanez SR505, a 5-string electric bass that masterfully blends traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art innovation. The SR505 features a lightweight Okoume body, known for its warm, fat low-end resonance, creating a robust tone that will add depth to any performance. The bass's deep cutaways provide effortless access to higher frets, making it perfect for intricate solos and innovative basslines.

At the heart of this bass's playability is its thin, sturdy, and stable 5-piece Jatoba/Walnut neck. Combined with an extended neck joint, this allows for surprising mobility up and down the fingerboard and easy access to upper frets. The SR505E isn't just a joy to play; it's also a feast for the eyes, with its sleek contours and rich Brown Mahogany finish.

The Bartolini BH2 pickups and custom Ibanez 3-band EQ ensure that the SR505 doesn't just look and feel great—it sounds amazing, too. The dual-coil style configuration of the pickups provides a balanced, warm response, with a tighter bottom end and a fuller midrange. The 3-band EQ allows for precise tonal control, perfect for those who wish to explore a diverse range of genres or craft a unique signature sound.
