Warwick fretless LX JazzMan (German made)

Description

This is a 2009, German made fretless Streamer LX Jazzman. It is in excellent condition with a few marks on the body as seen in the photos. Details of the bass can be seen in the info from the Warwick website I’ve included here.

I’ve owned this bass for about 3 years and it has seen very little use so it’s time for it to find a new home.

Hi . Can you explain the frets....are some still in place ?? Hard to tell
hickeydp 5 days ago
@Johnny fingers It’s a lined fretless. Little slivers of maple were inserted into the board where the frets would be. They’re sanded flush with the board.

Ok, many thanks for that.

I'm the previous owner. Just to clarify the neck - it's a factory fretless, so it has an ebony board, which was originally unlined. The owner before me had the maple fret position markers put in by Derrick Nelson of Danvel, so it was done to a very, very high standard. Lovely bass, this, at a great price.

@qweds1979 Good to hear from you. Thanks for adding that info in. Much appreciated. It’s a beautiful bass alright. Just not using it enough to justify keeping it.

Hi again. No mention on serial number look up about it being fretless to start with ??
hickeydp 5 days ago
@Johnny fingers: True, there's no mention of that. I can only go by what I was told and, I guess, what qweds1979, was told by whoever owned it before him.

Any interest in trades in my ad's?

@solomancini: Not for me, but thanks for asking.

Any videos to hear the sound of the bass?
How would you describe its Mwah sounds
Johnny fingers about a day ago
Any chance of a close up of maple ' cast in ' frets please ?
hickeydp about a day ago
@solomancini: I don't have any videos to demonstrate the sound. It has quite a solid fretless bark (mwah sound) that is very easy to control. The ebony fingerboard really lends itself to that.
