1991 Yamaha TRB-6P 6-String Bass – Original Japanese Model – Trans Teal – Yamaha Hard Case

For sale is my 1991 Yamaha TRB-6P, the original Japanese-made TRB-6P model.

This is one of the highly regarded early TRB-6Ps, featuring the neck-through construction, five-piece maple/mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, Yamaha active electronics and individual piezo elements in the bridge. Yamaha introduced the TRB-6P in 1991 as a professional-level six-string bass.

Condition: Very good for its age. Plastic still on cavity cover.

The bass is in very good overall condition, with a beautiful original turquoise/green gloss finish. There are two very small marks in the finish and one very slight indentation on the back, which I have photographed and tried to show clearly. There are also some minor signs of normal age/use, but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance.

The finish remains exceptionally glossy and presents very well.

Everything works perfectly, including the active electronics, pickups, piezo system, controls and hardware.
