Description

2009 Ibanez RGA42 – First Gen Arched Top w/ Wizard II Neck

Selling a first-generation Ibanez RGA42 built in August 2009 (Serial: I090821244). This era of Indonesian Ibanez production is highly regarded for its build quality and the inclusion of the legendary Wizard II neck profile—one of the fastest, slimmest necks ever made.

Key Specs:

Body: Solid Mahogany (Arched Top) for deep resonance and sustain.

Neck: 3-piece Maple "Wizard II" profile with a Rosewood fretboard.

Pickups: Ibanez LoZ3 Active Humbuckers. These provide a high-output, compressed tone that rivals the EMG 81/60 set. Great for modern metal and rock.

Electronics: 3-way selector + an Active EQ "Boost" toggle for instant tone shaping.

Bridge: Gibraltar Standard fixed bridge (massive sustain and perfect tuning stability).
