In great players grade condition considering its 56 years old. Maple neck and Brazilian rosewood fretboard.

I've owned this for the last 7 years and purchased the original damaged pickguard from the original seller and repaired it. Upon repairing, I then shielded the back of the pickguard.

The guitar comes with the CB pickup. This is one of the 7 made for this guitar. This pickup alone cost roughly between 300 & 500 Euro. Other pickups often come up on Reverb and eBay. The pickup retaining screw is a brass reproduction. The originals are like hens teeth!

The guitar was once converted to play left handed, hence why there is a drill hole in the lower horn. FYI, Paul McCartney owns the only left handed one ever made.

The pots were changed out recently. Knobs, screws, frets, nut and case are all original.
The original Ess & Ess case has the blue lining, this apparently is the more desirable of the cases although I personally prefer the black lining. The 3 latches on the case work perfectly and all the stickers were added by me over the last few years.

I have the history on this guitar from back to the late 90's. I will share this with the new owner. There is a number etched into the back of the headstock. I have no idea of this numbers origins.

Like I said at the start of the ad, absolutely no trades on this. The only reason I'm selling is to help with a deposit for a mortgage. Banks don't accept metalzones or MIM Telecasters, so don't ask please. If I wasn't trying to buy a house, I wouldn't be selling it.

I consider myself quite well versed on these guitars, I've had an obsession with them over the years and have studied resources and spoke to others enthusiasts over the years. I'm aware of what they sell for online, so my asking price is the only price I will accept.

As for how the guitar plays and sounds (the most important part). She plays like butter. Has a lovely low action and with the CB pickup, is a great rock axe!
