Epiphone SG "Les Paul Custom" Korean 2005 reissue of 1963 classic

Description

This is a 2005 reissue of the 1963 classic. Everything on the guitar is original, the hardware and pickups etc. Plays like a dream. Very versatile in terms of sound, going from deep warm tones to bright jangling treble. Sounds monstrous with distortion too. You can pretty much play anything on it. There aren't tons of these around, so they are sought after.

There is some very light cosmetic wear and tear (some nicks on the body, and one knob is slightly cosmetically damaged but not mechanically). The neck and action are impeccable. It really stays in tune very well and is very responsive. It's a real surprise of a guitar. The ivory colour gradually deepens into a honey yellow hue with age.

There's a good video here about the model:

If anyone is genuinely interested in buying this just to note I'll be taking this down if it doesn't sell in the next 7 days. I don't really need to sell it anymore, and am just as inclined to keep it. But if someone meets this price I'll part with it.
Just giving a heads up. Will be withdrawn next Tuesday if no sale. Thanks.

Hi folks. Just to reiterate, I'll be withdrawing this on Tuesday 23rd of June (before it slips down the list) if no one is interested. Thanks.

@Oscarbroderick1Hi. Thanks for the offer, but after a bit of thought I've decided to keep the guitar. Apologies. I just like it too much. I'm going to withdraw it. But best if luck.

Just few questions mate , neck , weight and action? I tried few Sgs in the past but never the les Paul custom one , people say this one is a bit heavier, I wonder if is heavier as a les Paul ?
Elron about a day ago
@dookie94 It's nothing like the weight of a Les Paul really. It's definitely much lighter.I would even say it's light. A comfortable guitar to play. It has a nice balance in the weight too,.so no neck dive.
I don't have actual weight details right now but I can put them on later.
Elron about a day ago
@dookie94 : Meant to say, the neck is a slim taper 60s style D shape. Actually I said there is no neck dive earlier, that's not accurate. If standing without holding it for a while it will tip a little, but not in any critical way.
Weight wise, it's approximately between 3.5 and 4kg. The action on it is low, fast and flexible. Which is one reason why I'm selling it, because these days I'm playing more baritone.

I was trying to send you an offer but was saying too low , fair enough!
It’s great guitar, but since it has a few dents and I'll need to source and replace the pot/knob, would you take €400 for it?
That’s my budget but I’m very interested…let me know!!
Cheers mate

Thanks for the offer, but I can't go any lower than this asking price. I had it listed originally at something like 540 and this 485 price is what I stopped at before relisting recently, I'd rather keep it than go lower. Hope you find what you're looking for though.
