This guitar has had some significant upgrades and is in excellent playing condition.

• Professionally refretted in 2025 with stainless-steel frets — excellent condition and a huge amount of fret life remaining

@Neon Knight according to Google the pickups are as below.

* Neck: Fender Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil
* Middle: Fender Custom Shop Texas Special single-coil
* Bridge: Fender Atomic humbucker

That’s the factory pickup configuration for the American Special HSS. Fender’s original specification sheet confirms 1 Atomic humbucker + 2 Texas Special Strat pickups.

Was the trem originally the 6 screw version or was it the two point trem before it was changed? If it was the two point version are the original screw holes still in the body? Thanks.

@Neon Knight Hi, yes, it was originally the 6-screw vintage-style tremolo. The bridge was replaced a few years ago, but it remains a 6-screw configuration. It was never a 2-point trem conversion.
