I'm selling my American Stratocaster which was purchased back around 2004 (I'm the original owner). It's in very good condition with only a few minor dings (see photos). Colour has aged nicely.

Guitar was serviced a couple of years ago and has seen very little use since. Guitar freshly restringed.

Comes with original hard-case. Does not include stand.

Hi, nice guitar, I’m just curious about was it re-sprayed at some stage with what looks to me like, nitro lacquered? Thanks a mill!

@Gordanh Thanks — no changes have ever been made to the body. The photos make it look very white, but in other light it’s more of a cream colour. I’ll try and get more photos up later.

Yes that’s interesting, normally they come with poly spray and that looks like nitro which would only add to the value. I have exactly the same guitar, Z5 serial number, got it second hand and was convinced it was resprayed but now looking at yours I’m thinking it must be some special order. Nitro is only done on high end guitars normally. Glwys :)

hi the reason the guitar seems to change colour is the light source , your camera/phone sensor is reacting to the warmth of the light (Kelvin scale), if you keep the guitar in same light area it wont happen, try to take pics in daylight window light and it should sort the problem.

@canonball Thanks for the advice. Funnily enough I added the first photo you see a few weeks after the ad to show the difference of colour in different light. Every other photo was taken in front of a patio window, so it looks very white, although in usual light it’s a bit more cream-tinted.

It happens a lot even with pro photographers I used to be one. It's amazing how good the eye is at adjusting to light ,but camera sensors are not the eye which is wonderful in its design . Nice guitar by the way hope it sells ok for you. Things seem very slow these days, people just watch guitars but not much real interest in buying even when it's a good price.
