Description

In perfect condition with case, exclusive Japanese model, this is the lightest Jazzmaster you will ever play, at just under 3.3kgs it is about a kilo to a kilo and a half lighter than your average Jazzmaster, it has a 4% smaller frame, a deeper rout under the pickguard and a Mustang/Jaguar scale length at 610mm. See last pic beside strat to get an indication of size, pretty much the same but much easier to handle.

This is a very unique guitar, sounds great and is incredibly smooth to play, super easy to transition between neck positions.

Tuning is perfect, intonation is perfect, open to inspection and and welcome to try out before purchase.

@plastic population Yes I did have another neck plate so I changed it, I think I have the old plain one if you prefer. Better pic of the serial number has been added. JD25033161

I thought all fender Japanese guitars have their serial number down by the neck heel

@antonychat They did that on some models up until the mid 90s, since then it’s the back of the headstock same as all Fenders.

As can be seen on Fender’s official serial registry it’s a Japanese model produced February of this year. Just 4 months old.
