Vintage Epiphone Casino made in Japan

Matsumoku made Japanese Epiphone Casino. The serial number decoder online has this showing up as a 1994 Korean model, but after doing some research it is an earlier Japanese model made in the matsumoku factory. It appears the guitar was made in November 1983 based on all the information available online. I was in touch with Gibson and they said the believe it is a 1970s model but cant say for certain as they don’t have serial records available from this time period. It is certainly of the 70s/80s matsumoku era though.

The guitar is in used condition, has nicks and scratches as to be expected for its age but looks great! Really cool vintage look. All electronics working perfectly and the frets are in great shape. The old bridge has been upgraded with a gotoh model and the tuners have been upgraded to Grover rotomatics which are top notch. I still have the old bridge and tuners and will include them. The hard case pictured is included too.

Really great guitar but hasn’t been getting the use it deserves lately so I’ve decided to move it on. Not looking for trades on this. Thanks for looking!
