Total Original Cost: €491.00 total investment from Screwfix (AC unit was €469.15 and the extra window kit was €21.85).

This is a powerful 12,000 BTU machine, meaning it cools medium-to-large spaces incredibly fast. It is a fully reversible unit, so it also acts as an efficient heater during the winter months for year-round utility.

The Backstory: This was purchased for use inside a temporary construction site office. Before setting it up, the internal office temperature was at a completely unbearable level.
This unit easily brought the room down to a perfectly comfortable, workable temperature.

Condition & Usage: Great, working condition. It was used lightly for just a single project.

It was only needed for the cooling side during that specific project contract (the site already had built-in heating, so the heating function on this unit was rarely even used).

It is no longer required due to a change in project types and has been kept safely in clean storage since.

Pro-Tip For Maximum Cooling: When I set it up, I used black duct tape (not duck tape!) to perfectly secure the seal on both the inside and outside of the windows.

I highly recommend doing this when you set it up. Getting the window as close to 100% airtight as possible makes the unit work incredibly fast and efficiently.
