Is it the v4 Summicron or the asph? Either way this is kind if the ultimate setup! Best of luck with the sale.

Faolan Carey 1 month ago

@_sparkie_ hey dude! Thank you, serial number leads me to believe it is a 1986 v4 :)

_sparkie_ 1 month ago

It will say 'asph' on the front of the lens if it is the aspherical, I just cant make out the text in the image.

Faolan Carey 1 month ago

@_sparkie_ no ‘asph’!

_sparkie_ 1 month ago

NIce, so it is the v4 which is more desirable. I have the v4 and it is an amazing lens. That is a great setup you are selling.

I have the mp with this exact lens and can verify this is an amazing set up.
And that 35mm lens has great character.
Best of luck with sale.

Hey, have you any interested in a trade for my SL2 + 24-90 lens I have listed?

Faolan Carey 1 month ago

@SeanDunne hi, unfortunately not at this time, I’m looking to fund a project I think is more important than the camera. Otherwise I’d happily keep it as it’s a beautiful set up.

SeanDunne 1 month ago

No problem, thanks for replying - best of look with the sale.

Faolan Carey 1 month ago

@SeanDunne no problem, best of luck with yours.

I will be selling the camera to Leica next week if any ‘watching’ are interested, please make an offer before it is too late.

Beautiful setup. Fellow leica shooter in Drumcondra here. What's your best price for the kit?

Faolan Carey 1 month ago

@boylang2 Hi! If you’d like to make an offer and PM me, we can chat more there

boylang2 1 month ago

Let me have a think and come back to you.

Faolan Carey 1 month ago

@boylang2 please do! If I can’t sell here before the end of the week I’ll be selling to Leica, I would prefer to not have to ship etc. I’m sure we can work something out any way :)

Did you sell this in the end?

Faolan Carey 3 days ago

@boylang2 hey! Actually no, I still have it but I had been planning to ship away, just haven’t had the chance, if you’re interested we could probably work something out?

boylang2 3 days ago

I’m tempted. Which version of the lens is it exactly?

Faolan Carey 2 days ago

@boylang2 it’s the v4, king of bokeh

Faolan Carey 1 day ago

@boylang2 Hi, planning to actually ship this off this week, if you’re at all interested let me know cause, I’d rather keep it local and quick if possible!

boylang2 about a day ago

Hi sorry. Was meaning to get back to you. I don’t think I can spare the cash right now - so I’ll sadly leave it at this stage.

Faolan Carey about a day ago

@boylang2 no problem! Thanks for getting back to me :)
