Vintage from the 1970s

Materials: Brass

A striking vintage 5-piece equestrian fireplace tool set featuring horse head and horseshoe motifs throughout — a fantastic statement piece for an English country, equestrian or traditional hunting lodge interior.

The freestanding ornate holder is topped with a large horse head framed by a horseshoe, with matching horse-and-horseshoe motifs decorating each of the four fireplace tools.

The complete 5-piece set includes:

• Freestanding decorative stand
• Fireplace poker
• Fireplace shovel
• Hearth brush
• Fireplace tongs

The substantial decorative base features ornate scrolling relief detail, while the repeated horse and horseshoe design gives the entire set wonderful equestrian character.

A particularly attractive fireside display for an English country home, equestrian interior, traditional study, country house, hunting lodge or Ralph Lauren-inspired room.

Approximate overall dimensions:
7" W × 19" H × 6" D

Total weight:
50 oz

Vintage condition with age-related wear, tarnishing, patina, surface marks and discoloration throughout, all adding to its character.

Please note that the small hanging loop is absent from the horse-and-horseshoe finial at the very top of the stand. This does not affect its use or display, as this piece serves as the fixed decorative finial rather than a hanging fireplace tool.

The hearth brush shows noticeable age and wear to the bristles, as photographed.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the condition description.

Estimated vintage: circa 1970s–1980s.
