Portuguese limestone fireplace and gas fire

Description

Beautiful Portuguese limestone fireplace surround paired with gas fire insert.

This is a complete unit that will instantly elevate any living room. Selling as we are renovating and getting a stove.

Condition:
The unit is in good, sturdy condition with a few marks and scratches from use and dismantling. There is one small piece taken out of the hearth edge (see photos). I have saved the broken piece, meaning it can be easily glued back in place and filled using limestone adhesive/sealant for a near-invisible repair.

Dimensions:
Hearth: 137cm wide x 46cm deep x 12cm high
Mantle: 137cm wide x 23cm deep x 4cm high
Gas Insert: 51cm wide x 61cm high
Surround Sides: 18cm deep

Collection from Swords. Dismantled and ready to go.

Please note: This is very heavy stone, so you will need a suitable vehicle (like a van) and at least two strong people to lift and carry it.

@eugelina yes. Unfortunately we've disconnected everything and capped the gas so I wouldn't be able to demonstrate for you but it works perfectly!

@Lynette82 I would like to sell the whole thing if I can but if I can't get a buyer for it then yes. How soon would you be looking to buy? Not sure how difficult it would be to detach, I'd need to have a look at it.

Thanks for the interest folks! The insert appears to be glued to the surround, so I'm selling the fireplace strictly as a complete unit. It's probably possible to separate them with a bit of care, but I'm leaving that entirely up to the buyer to tackle after collection. So open to offers on the complete unit.
