The AQUAEL UNIFILTER UV filter is designed to purify and aerate water in aquariums. It efficiently filters water and additionally sterilizes it thanks to the presence of UV LEDs. It fights floating algae, protozoa and bacteria, which increases the clarity of the water and guarantees the health of the fish. The UV LEDs can be turned on or off independently of the filter operation. UNIFILTER UV is easy to use and enables convenient adjustment of efficiency using a knob, which is also the dome of the rotor. The direction of the water outlet can be adjusted up to 90°.

The larger UNIFILTER UV 500, 750 and 1000 models are equipped with a ceramic rotor axis, which contributes to their quiet operation and guarantees their durability.

A specially designed chamber for filter media prevents water from the filter from pouring into the aquarium during water changes, as well as when removing the filter from the aquarium during water changes or washing sponges. Maintenance of the AQUAEL UNIFILTER UV filter is also facilitated by two independent sponge cartridges, which can be removed and cleaned individually, in turns. This prevents the destruction of colonies of nitrifying bacteria that support nitrogen transformations. To ensure continuous filtration, it is recommended to alternately clean the sponge filter cartridges independently.
