Aquario Neo Co2 Diffuser S - Acrylic Ceramic Diffuser 12mm

CO2 diffusers should provide the best solubility of the gas, should not be fragile, i.e. easy to destroy (like the glass ones), and should be "not ugly" (like the plastic ones). It would also be good if it was not too expensive and if it came in different sizes to choose the right one for the aquarium. Which diffuser meets all these characteristics?
There are many models on offer that fulfil one, perhaps at most two of the above-mentioned characteristics. E.g.: glass with ceramic - dissolves well (but here not always) and certainly looks nice, but is very fragile and expensive. Another: plastic - they usually dissolve well and can't be damaged - but are nasty and also expensive. Which one to choose in this situation?

The only answer to these questions and the only diffuser on the market that meets all the expectations of the aquarist is the Neo Diffuser. Why? This is discussed below. It is worth reading, as it is not another silly advertisement.

Ceramic fibre sinter (not to be confused with ceramic sinter):
The ceramic mass is fired and then small channels are formed - this is how ceramic sinter is made, you could say standard sinter. What is ceramic fibre sinter?
The ceramic mass is subjected to a high electromagnetic pulse, then fibres are formed. They are then sintered, formed into a sinter under high pressure and fired again.
This treatment creates micro pores with a much smaller diameter and a much larger volume than normal sinter. Fibre sinter is not only much denser, but also harder and more durable than normal fibre sinter. It does not 'work out' over time and does not crack.

Micro dimensions:
A natural consequence of the innovative fibre sinter is the possibility of using a smaller diffuser in a given aquarium.
Until now, it was assumed, for example, that a diffuser with a diameter of 2cm was suitable for an aquarium of 100 - 200l The Neo Diffuser with a diameter of 2cm supports aquariums up to 200 - 300l.
Yes, the Neo diffuser is nice. But it is not the diffusers but the plants that should decorate the aquarium. Therefore, the smaller size of the diffuser benefits the aesthetics of the aquarium.

Acrylic body:
Just as nice as the glass one. 100% transparent and aesthetically pleasing but, unlike glass, indestructible. The acrylic provides excellent transparency, making the diffuser virtually invisible in the tank and allowing the use of the bubble counter mounted inside.
