The balls are perfect for fertilizer supplementation for aquarium plants. Many plants, including Echinodorus, Cryprocoryne, Hygrophila, Vallisneria, Heteranthera, Lotos, as well as cover crops and plants with a well-developed system of roots, require a fertile ground. They absorb fertilizers with their roots and leaves. To provide comprehensive fertilizing, the balls made of peaty clay and they should be placed 5cm deep on the ground, on the level of the gravel layer, under the plant and close to its roots (if the tank is full of plants, the balls should be placed every 5-12cm and applied once per 3 months). After a week you can see a substantial improvement in the condition of the plants.
Clay-peat balls are made of best quality clay and peat containing NO3, K, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zu, Bo, Mo. The diameter of a single ball is 16mm. No PO4, no phosphates, which minimizes the chances of appearance of blue-green algae.
