SALT FOR HATCHING ARTEMIA special salt for hatching Artemia salina. Special salt for creating the brine essential for hatching brine shrimp nauplii. It does not contain iodine, which is toxic to larvae. In order to make the best possible use of cysts and maximise the hatching rate, the salt has been enriched with a substance raising pH of the brine to 8. In order to prepare the brine, dissolve 15-20 g of salt in 1 litre of water. Artemia salina larvae, obtained this way, are indispensable food for freshwater and marine fry, small species of fish and many marine invertebrates.
