Tropical Shrimp-UP! Minerals & Molting is a complete feed for freshwater shrimp, featuring the proprietary Tropical’s Molting Booster formula developed in line with current scientific knowledge of the nutritional requirements of crustaceans. The formula combines calcium, phospholipids, betaine, DHA and EPA fatty acids to support shrimp during key stages of growth. These nutrients support hormone production involved in moulting, tissue development and the mineralisation of the new exoskeleton.

The formula is complemented by a carefully selected balance of macro- and trace elements, with optimal Ca:P and Ca:Mg ratios. Calcium sources with different release rates, including organic calcium derived from red marine algae, provide shrimp with a steady supply of this essential mineral, supporting rapid rebuilding of the exoskeleton and a healthy moulting process.

A rich blend of proteins from black soldier fly larvae, mealworm larvae, silkworm pupae, krill and squid provides all essential amino acids required to support growth, maturation and reproduction. Natural chitin derived from insects and krill also supports healthy crustacean growth.

The advanced production process ensures microbiological safety, high digestibility and excellent water stability, helping to reduce contamination of aquarium water and substrate. For optimal breeding results, the combined use of products from the Shrimp-UP! range is recommended.

Composition

Complete feed for shrimp. Composition: molluscs and crustaceans (squid meal 20%, krill meal 1.5%), products of vegetable origin, cereals, algae (Lithothamnium calcareum 10%, Ascophyllum nodosum 3%, Schizochytrium sp. 2%), feed materials of mineral origin (sodium polyphosphate, dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate), insects (mealworm larvae meal 6%, Hermetia illucens larvae meal 2%, silkworm pupae meal 1%), oils and fats, fish and fish products (hydrolysed fish protein), yeasts (beta-1,3/1,6-glucan 0.1%).

Feeding Instructions

Feed once daily, providing only as much food as the shrimp can consume within a few hours. When used alongside other foods from the Shrimp-UP! range, feed every 2–3 days.
