Description

Matching pair of framed botanical reproduction prints after works by renowned botanical artist Pierre-Joseph Redouté, often known as the “Raphael of Flowers.”

The pair features a red snapdragon flower and a raspberry branch, each mounted behind glass with burgundy fabric-effect surrounds, cream and gold-coloured borders and matching wood-effect frames.

These are believed to be later decorative reproductions rather than original antique engravings. No publisher, edition or production date is currently visible.

Used condition with general frame wear, light marks and age-related surface wear. Sold together as a matching pair. Collection is preferred due to the glass.
