Murano glass spiral vase
Murano glass spiral vase
Description
An artistic glass vase with a distinctive, organic shape reminiscent of a jellyfish or a twisting orchid (often referred to as a "twisting" or "spiral" flute vase). Such artistic forms—featuring a tall, twisted neck and a multi-armed base, crafted from both clear and colored glass—were produced by the renowned glassworks on the island of Murano, Italy.
Similar Murano vases are offered at auctions for 200 euros or more (see the last photos).
