An icon of 1970s Polish design—the "Futura" model (also known as "Guzy" or "Mini"), designed by the acclaimed artist Eryka Trzewik-Drost.
The piece was manufactured by the "Ząbkowice" Household Glassworks in Dąbrowa Górnicza. It features a simple, cylindrical form punctuated by rhythmic, raised protrusions (known as *guzy* or "knobs") that effectively diffuse the light. While the model was produced in various colors (including turquoise, ruby, and honey), this particular version—made of pressed glass in a vibrant green hue—is highly prized by collectors of the Polish "New Look" style.
The vase has a small chip on the base (see the final photos).
