Antique Opal & Ruby Earrings - 18ct circa 1860
Description
For sale are a stunning pair of antique French earrings dating from around 1860-1880.
The earrings are set with ornate styled vines with leaves of gold which have been enamelled in blue enamel with two rectangular cushion cut rubies and a pear cabochon opal in each. The end of the earrings are set with a drop seed of gold with floral case.
These earrings are reminiscent of the famous French enamel jewellery Alexis Falize.
These stunning antique earrings measure 40mm in length and are fully hallmarked 18ct gold
The earrings are made for pierced ears with hinged hoop fixings.
