This is a solid, substantial piece of jewellery, not being sold as scrap gold. The asking price reflects the value of the finished jewellery, workmanship and design, rather than simply the scrap value of the gold.

Current gold prices alone put the gold content at approximately €3,570, before taking into account the fact that this is a finished jewellery piece.

@vergil34 Thanks for your offer. Sorry, but you have zero feedback, so I wouldn’t travel into town just for a craic. We can meet either in Tallaght where there are two jewellers (or cash for gold spot) or in Liffey Valley where I work. Let me know if you’re happy with either of those options.
