Boss Katana Gen 3, 100w

Versatile and very popular amp. This is the most recent model, including a new “pushed” amp mode and Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth (BT-Dual) adapter is usually sold separately, but included here. With the BT you can edit and back up patches on the amp from the Katana app, and stream music (e.g., backing tracks) to the amp from your device.
One big advantage of the 100w over 50w Katanas is that they have an effects loop, which among other things means you can put a looper pedal after the onboard models and effects, so you can have different tones for your loops and overdubs (e.g. playing distorted lead over clean rhythm loop). Or of course you can put your looper between the guitar and amp and explore the onboard models/effects while your loop plays.
Doesn’t have to be too loud: there are three power settings, full, half, and 0.5w, plus a stereo headphone socket to keep the neighbours happy. Big range of great Boss effects on board, but also a Power Amp In jack in case you want to use it with your own modeller/profiler.
One very small mark on the side (pictured), otherwise immaculate. Only used at home.
