Fender Bassbreaker 18/30 and 16ohm Two Notes Attenuator
Fender Bassbreaker 18/30 and 16ohm Two Notes Attenuator
Description
Lovely amp in great condition. One simple mod to allow use of attenuator with the 2x12 combo speakers.
All tube, 4 new TAD redbase EL84s and two new JJ 12AX7s. Sounds great.
The Fender Bassbreaker 18/30 is essentially two distinct, vintage-voiced amplifiers a blackface (30 watt) and a brown face (18 watt). As they are EL84 the sound leans towards British.
Known as a good pedal platform due to high clean headroom. On its own it's very loud but the attenuator let's you drive the tubes without blowing the doors off.
Comes with cover, kettle lead and original channel switch.
