Firebelly Handwired Princeton Reverb

Description

-Really high quality hand wired recreation (with improvements!)of a vintage '64 Fender Princeton Reverb.
Hand built by the highly respected boutique amp builder father and son team of Steve and Scott Cohen in California.
I've had a few Princetons and clones over the years and I kept this one in preference to a much more expensive Headstrong Lil' King I sold a few years ago!
They amp is wired to the AA1164 Blackface '64 Princeton Circuit but addresses the weak spot of the vintage Princeton by adding a very useful Mid EQ control which allows you to dial in a more "Brownface" character or back it off for that beautiful Blackface sparkle.....and also a Master Volume control for knocking off a bit of the volume if necessary?......(originals are Treble/Bass only and Non Master Volume.
-Tube driven Reverb
-Valve Rectifier
-Mallory Caps
-The other bigimprovement over the original Princeton design is the larger/deeper finger jointed pine cabinet which noticeably improves the sound allowing a more 3D sound spread (the originals can sound a bit "boxy").
- The larger cab also allows a 12" speaker to be fitted (which also greatly improves a Princeton!)
- Amp looks great with a vintage Tweed covering, works perfectly, absolutely nails that vintage Princeton sound. Comes with her original footswitches for the Trem/ Reverb and a protective cover worth £60 Sterling.
-I'm in two minds about selling this beauty so if you're interested move quick before I change my mind! :-)

what speaker is it using?
boardslapper 1 month ago
@Roryfan Good question...... I have an Eminence Redcoat The Governor in there at the mo.........I've auditioned loads of speakers in it over the years and I think this one suited it best for my style anyway.

Any interest in my Friedman?
boardslapper 1 month ago
@andrewguy ....Thanks.....I have a Brunetti Pleximan for those type of sounds at the mo but the Friedman looks like an interesting amp. Let me have a bit of read of some reviews and I'll come back to you.

Hi there.Lovely Amp. Would I have listed anything of interest?
boardslapper 4 weeks ago
@DarFahy thanks man........ it is an absolutely lovely amp and it kills me to move it on but I'm trying hard to downsize at the mo. I could do you a good deal for cash if you are interested but I'm all good for gear at the mo.
