Barber Electronics Direct Drive

The Barber Direct Drive is a legendary, hand-made overdrive pedal produced by David Barber of Barber Electronics. It is highly celebrated for delivering smooth, amp-like British-voiced overdrive reminiscent of a hot-rodded Marshall without the typical heavy mid-hump found in standard Tube Screamer clones.There are two distinct types of "V1" models depending on the era of the pedal: the original large "Big Box" enclosure and the later "Compact" reissue series


Direct Drive
This is the classic boutique version that put the circuit on the map, featuring a larger housing and an incredibly robust layout.External Controls: Volume, Tone, and Drive.Push-Pull Tone Pot: Pulling out the tone control knob activates the Fat Harmonics mode. This shifts the EQ profile to mimic a looser, singing California-style amplifier with an increased, raw low-end response.
