Behringer TO800 Vintage Tube Overdrive pedal

Behringer TO800 Vintage Tube Overdrive pedal

Behringer TO800 Vintage Tube Overdrive is a highly popular guitar pedal that clones the iconic Ibanez Tube Screamer (TS808) circuit.

Overview

• The Sound: Uses the classic 4558 op-amps to deliver a warm, creamy overdrive with a distinct mid-range boost that helps guitar solos cut through a band mix.
• The Controls: Simple three-knob layout featuring Drive (distortion), Tone (brightness), and Level (volume).
• The Catch: While it sounds identical to pedals five times its price, it is built in a lightweight plastic enclosure rather than metal, which some gigging musicians find less durable.

It is ideal as an affordable entry into overdrive or used as a clean boost to push a tube amplifier into natural saturation.

Postage: Extra.
