Blue Colander: Black Emperor Mini Fuzz
Description
No Trades please
Recreating the sound profile of vintage V8 Sovtek Big Muff Pi fuzz units, the Blue Colander Black Emperor Mini packs the heavy low-end and high-gain response of the original circuit into a pedalboard-friendly 125B enclosure.
It features a simplified control interface paired with two mini toggle switches that unlock distinct tonal configurations. One toggle swaps the standard tone stack for a Pro Co Rat-style filter control to recover prominent midrange frequencies, while the other engages a blast mode for an aggressive, biting note attack and enhanced low-frequency depth.
The unit incorporates a relay-based true bypass switching system and is powered via an external direct current source.
