BOSS DS-2 Turbo Distortion is a highly versatile dual-mode analogue distortion pedal first released in 1987 as an expanded, harder-hitting successor to the legendary BOSS DS-1.

It is famous for anchoring the signature grunge and alternative rock sounds of artists like Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Prince.

Dual Turbo Modes: A 4-way rotary knob switches between two distinct distortion voicings.

Remote Switch Jack: Features a dedicated REMOTE input allowing you to plug in an external latching footswitch (like the BOSS FS-5L) to alternate between Turbo modes mid-performance.

The Two Turbo Modes:
