The Electronic Audio Experiments (EAE) Bard is a preamp and overdrive pedal inspired by the Music Man HD130 amplifier, known for its solid-state preamp and tube power amp. The Bard captures the HD130’s unique tonal spectrum, offering pristine cleans, jangly mid-gain tones, and trashy, unapologetically non-tube-like overdrive. It features Level and Drive controls, passive Low and High EQ knobs, and a Bright/Normal switch for tonal flexibility, making it suitable for both guitar and bass.
