This is a Sunkey (or Sanki/Toho Koki) 200mm/8-inch adjustable wrench. It carries the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) and H 9786 marking, meaning it is a vintage, high-quality chrome-vanadium or alloy steel tool, made in Sanjo City, Japan.

It has an opening capacity that ranges from 0 to 24 mm or 28 mm. It features a 15-degree angled head for tight spaces and durable buttress threads on the adjusting worm gear for a secure, non-slip grip.

Sunkey and Sanki are prominent historic Japanese hand tool brands closely intertwined with Toho Kōki Co., a premier Japanese manufacturer best known globally for its flagship "HIT" brand tools.

The tool was most likely made by Hokuyo Sangyō after it became one of the production partners for Toho Kōki, trading with the same JIS 9786 code.

By 2002 the Hokuyo Sangyō website was no longer available and the company is assumed to have closed, making the tool at least 24 years old. But, in all likelihood, it is older.
