Mathieson plough plane and 17 moulding planes
Mathieson plough plane and 17 moulding planes
Description
Mathieson plough plane and a mixed lot of 16 moulding planes. The plough comes with a 3/8" cutter and is beautifully made, with brass accents and moulded fence. Other planes are a mix of rebate & skew rebate planes, hollows, rounds and a few others. Various makers and ages, some appear very old.
I haven't used any of them, so can't really say much about their performance. I think the plough is meant to have a second fence retaining wedge, but it's missing. The other one is there, so it can be used as a template to make a copy.
