Vintage Stanley No 6 Fore Plane
Description
A nice clean Stanley No 6 Fore Plane made in England in great condition. The knob and tote are made of beechwood and are in excellent condition. The body is clean and the sole is perfectly flat. The iron is perfectly square, is polished razor sharp, set and ready to go.
The Stanley No 6 Fore Plane is generally used for rough stock removal and truing up long edges or wide boards as a preliminary step before using other planes.
This Stanley No 6 plane was made around 1948 to early 1960's
