Slate VSX Immersion One (Brand New condition, used once) Upgrade Version

Description

Condition: New

Arguably the best headphones for mixing/mastering on the market.
Brand new condition (literally still has that new smell). This is the upgrade edition (RRP 769 via thomann). Although its said to sound great on its own, it doesnt come with the VSX software. THIS IS SOLELY FOR existing users of the cheaper closed back version, that already has the software, but you must have a locense of the essentials version or have previously owned the closed back. Its fully compatible. Only selling as I use the closed back and need the isolation. I Briefly tested these once and they have been stored in the case. I had a custom cable at the time, so the cable that comes with these headphones have never been opened, so brand new.
They are amazing, but I use/need a closed back.

Comes with a capra style strap also.

Hi,
Where can the software be bought?

Thanks

Jamie4 1 week ago

@sei046 Directly from the manufacturer id say.

@sei046 I dropped the price also

@sei046 I did some reasearch and I think you need to have owned the software already, meaning being an owner of the closed back. I think the platinum edition on their site is an upgrade itself. So these are for owners of the closed back or software that want to upgrade.

I don’t think so I’m afraid as they are the upgrade version, also If you activated them with skate and ilok you’d need to do a transfer there to unlock the immersion one mode I think?

If you have solutions to these I would take them from you. Thanks a million

Sorry we replied at the same time. Yes I think so.

@sei046 Ya i definitely didnt activate them. How it works is that you need to own the closed backs or have the software already on ilok.
Because I already owned the closed backs, these will work as an upgrade. I definitely didnt activate them as I knew straight away, I needed a closed back. They were briefly tested. They still smell new. Look if you were to look into either getting a license from someone or buying the closed back+ software used or on sale. They are doing platinum plus closed back for like 380 pr something, so getting the headphones for 180 which is a great price, then this upgrade would work.

@Jamie4 Ill also change the description to include this as I wasnt aware you couldnt buy the software on its own.

They do however sound amazing on their own. Especially if you EQ them. For this price, you could always sort the other option out. I dont think youd get a pair this new for this cheap.
