And do you know if it can be used on both sides? My stairs are the opposite side

Hi as far as I know it can left or right.
I will check this morning to make sure and get back to you.

I checked and apparently it can go on left or the right side.
As its mounted on steps not the wall

It would be best to check with whomever is going to be installing it just to be sure their happy.
