Sound Profile & Performance

The Strengths: The amplifier is highly praised for its musicality, creamy midband, and crisp top end. A user on the Audioholics Forums noted that it provides excellent transparency and crisp instrument reproduction, making it particularly well-suited for Jazz and Classical music listeners. [1, 2]

The Limitations: With 40W of power, it is optimized for low to moderate listening levels in small to medium-sized rooms. It lacks the heavy dynamic punch required for large orchestral peaks and may struggle to drive highly inefficient, power-hungry speakers. [1, 2]

Current Market Context

The DiVA A65 Plus is a legacy analog model and has long been discontinued. On the used market, it remains highly sought after as an affordable audiophile entry point, typically selling for around £100 to £130 depending on condition.
