Hi just wondering if the signs of use are purely cosmetic or if the sound of functionality of the speakers are affected at all?
Thanks

@donedealuser (#3103ef) there is a ground hum when it is turned on that dissappears when audio is playing. The rest is cosmetic

Hey there, does the ground hum disappear when audio is playing or can you just not hear it as well wit the audio playing?

Also does it still happen with the audio cables disconnected?

@davecronin Hey, the ground hum certainly disappears when audio is played! The sub itself is pretty powerful so as soon as it has power the tweeter inside begins to fluctuate which is just a natural effect of the power being put into it.
The lines of the other adjoining speakers are easily replaceable but I managed to cut them down a bit to stop any static noise coming through.
The unit itself is pretty solid tbh and back when they were selling these things they were worth about 500. I've dropped the price a few times but I'm hoping to get the asking price for the whole unit.
They are just taking up too much space for me at this point so just want to get rid of them. Audiophiles should have a lot of fun with them if they have any preamps or mixers to connect them to which would certainly take away any ground issues
