Hi, is the Marantz PM440 still available? I’m interested in using it with a pair of vintage passive speakers. I saw that it’s been serviced, do you know what work was done, and is everything working properly with no crackling or issues on either channel? Would it be possible to test it before buying? Thanks.

@gpwalsh9 Hi thank you interested in this amplifier, it was working before service, just replaced a few electrolyte capacitors due to ages, both channels are working fine. Of course, it can be tested before you pay.

Hi Jerry thanks, sounds good. I’d be happy to collect and test it. Would you take €80 for it if I can arrange collection soon?

@gpwalsh9 yes, you can have it €80, but I’m away on holiday, would you like to collect it after 12th Oct?

Hi Jerry, apologies for the delay. I went for another option as I needed it quickly. Have a great holiday
