Hi, does this come with a full dirac license, is that something you had to buy separately from the hardware.

Yes. If you sell or give away the miniDSP Flex itself, the Dirac Live license is generally tied to that specific hardware unit, so the new owner can use the license on that device.

A few key points:

* The Dirac license is associated with the specific miniDSP device, not permanently with you as a person.
* If the new owner wants the license formally transferred to their Dirac account, Dirac and/or miniDSP support can assist with a license ownership transfer.
* You cannot normally take the license off your Flex and move it to a different piece of hardware you buy later. Licenses are device-specific.
