For sale my fantastic miniDSP Flex - it can do it all! Preamp, DAC, ADC, room equalisation, Bluetooth streaming!

I am selling it as I am upgrading to a miniDSP SHD unit.

The unit includes a set of digital inputs: USB audio, S/PDIF (RCA/optical) and Bluetooth (LDAC/aptX) and an analogue input. An OLED front panel display and volume control/encoder knob provides easy control. The Flex is jam-packed with miniDSP’s tried and proven audio processing functionality: flexible parametric EQ, IIR & FIR filters, crossovers, advanced biquad programming and delay on each output channel. Last but not least, all platforms are easily software-upgradable with Dirac Live, the world’s premiere room correction system for full range (20~20kHz) tuning.

The miniDSP Flex has many uses in applications ranging from a compact digital stereo preamp through subwoofer integration and optimization to active speakers, home theater and recording studios. I am using it as a DAC preamp and have used REW with it for room acoustics adjustment.

@Quban Yes. Depending on what you want, it can independently control two subwoofers for stereo placement.
Provides up to two channels for your main speakers, plus two for subs. I think it can handle 4 subwoofers if you really wanted!

Do you have to pay for a dirac licence separately? Did you use it for dirac?

@njprrogers Hi. Yes, you have to buy a Dirac licence if you want to use Dirac. For the Flex I used REW (Room Equilisation Wizard) which is free, very powerful, a lot more fun to use, and you will learn a lot more about sound behaviour in your room using it. I have Dirac in a different room and equipment, it is very good too.
