Rare 1957 Vintage Pilot Encore RC126, portable suitcase, record player. Excellent Vintage Condition. BSR 4 speed Turntable. Plays 33/3 and 45 RPM, 16's and 78's

Selling this beautiful, rare, 1957 Pilot Encore portable suitcase valve record player (Model RC126) featuring a classic 4 speed BSR turntable deck.

Plays 16, 33.3, 45rpm and 78's

A truly stunning 69-year-old mid-century piece that has been remarkably well-preserved and is in fantastic vintage condition.

Year of Manufacture: 1957 (UK Built)

Cosmetic Condition: Excellent. The two-tone red and cream vinyl casing, handle, dials, and internal fabric are in fantastic vintage condition with minimal wear for its age.

Audio & Functionality: Plays records beautifully. The internal valve amplifier works perfectly and delivers that warm, unmistakable 1950s analog audio.

Note on Mechanism: The automatic return is slightly slow and 'sticky' towards the end of the cycle and doesn't fully complete, without a little manual help. This does not effect the ability to play records and is an easy fix with some re-oiling or re-greasing of the internal mechanism, an easy fix for a collector or hobbyist.

A gorgeous statement piece for any home, any vintage audio enthusiast, or for display purposes in TV, theatre, retail, etc, etc,..
