Very nice Mark II Revox A77.

3.75 and 7.5 ips
In excellent condition for it's age.
Reconditioned by me:
- All Rifa surge capacitors replaced
- Electrolytic capacitors replaced
- Motor capacitors replaced
- All preset potentiometers replaced
- All switch contacts cleaned
- Tape guide bearings replaced
- Reel motor brakes adjusted
- New 3D printed power switch knob
- Power input socket updated to new IEC type

I have repaired various Tascam 1/2" tape machines and lots of 1/4" Revox machines.
I downloaded a service manual and circuit diagrams for the C278 and the capstan speed control circuit is quartz crystal based so should provide very accurate speed control.
I can have a look at it for you but I do have a couple of repairs to complete at the moment so could not promise a quick turnover.

sorry for the slow reply! It's not reel to reel Tascam, it's a 4-track cassette tape one....Porta 7 Ministudio
I have repaired a Tascam 234 4 track cassette which is a good quality deck.
