Why is that? Tracked post up to 2kg is only 11 through An Post and 2 euro per kg after that up to 10. I'm fairly certain that little stereo doesn't weigh more than 10 or 15lbs...which would be approximately 17 - tracked. I don't see that as very expensive - I see that as a reasonable cost to get my mother a CD capable stereo that she can make as loud as she wants in just 2 days postage time 🤷
