Vintage Military Ammo Box Bluetooth Speaker

I built this portable speaker using a genuine vintage military ammo box, giving it a second life beyond storage and into something you can actually enjoy every day.

The box still carries its original character, solid steel construction, worn paint, military markings, and rugged feel. Instead of sitting on a shelf, it now houses a 4 inch speaker powered by a 12V rechargeable battery system.

It connects easily via Bluetooth, so you can stream from your phone. There is also an aux input if you prefer a wired connection. Once charged, it runs independently, making it easy to move from the garage to the patio, workshop, or campsite.

The steel enclosure gives the sound a unique tone, slightly raw, warm, and full of personality, which feels fitting for the box itself. It is not meant to be a flashy modern speaker, it is meant to feel solid, functional, and a little different.
