Philips 90AL162 is a classic portable transistor radio released in 1977.
Great condition , no cracks
It features a distinct late-1970s aesthetic characterized by its rugged plastic casing, geometric lines, and a prominent stylized "162" stamped into the top-right corner.
Technical Description
Frequency Bands: It primarily tunes into two bands: PO (Petite Onde / Medium Wave or AM) and GO (Grande Onde / Long Wave). Note: It does not have FM capabilities.
Controls: It utilizes a large vertical tuning slider scale alongside a highly distinctive orange cylindrical thumbwheel for tuning, with a smaller dial beneath it for volume and power.
Power Source: It runs completely on portable power, requiring three 1.5V batteries (C-cell / R14 type).
