Vintage 1970s Tellux Audic Five-T/C music center.

This unit features a classic BSR automatic record changer and a built-in 8-track tape player.

A plug and basic Philips speakers fitted for testing purposes.

The Condition:

Turntable: The motor runs and the platter spins at all speeds and the sound works. I have just fitted a brand new stylus to it. However, it currently skips/hangs in place during playback. This is almost certainly the classic BSR issue of old, dried mechanical grease on the internal cogs. A good clean-up with isopropyl alcohol should help.

8-Track Player: Currently not functioning. Highly likely it just needs a replacement drive belt (very common for rubber belts of this era to perish).

Cosmetics: In vintage condition, partially cleaned recently with some expected light age-related wear to the wood-effect casing.

Pair of small Philips satellite speakers (shown in photos) fitted for testing.
